In 2022, Braxton Garrett (LHP, MIA) improved his skills with a 125 BPV, and his 3.58 ERA and 1.25 WHIP contributed to his first positive R$ season. The strong skills (156 BPV) have continued in 2023, and the lefty has a 3.88 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 13 GS and 70 IP. 

When looking into his pitch mix, Garrett is still employing a slider-first approach, with a 28.1% slider usage (as seen in the graph below). While he has trimmed his four-seam fastball usage from 24.9% in 2022 to 6.9% in 2023, he is throwing a cutter 18.1% of the time.
