RELIEVERS: Observations based on Leverage Index

Last week, this column looked at the Closer Caliber Chart and amped up the filters to get the best non-closer skill sets going in 2014. One tidbit that came from that review was the revelation that the Orioles are the only team in the AL with a left-handed closer in Zach Britton (LHP, BAL) and then set-up men who met these stringent skills filters from both the right side in sidewinder Darren O'Day (RHP, BAL) and the left side with recent acquisition Andrew Miller (LHP, BAL).
