RELIEVERS: 2019 trade deadline aftermath—ATL, WAS, MIA, SEA, TOR

This week we take a look at how Atlanta and Washington will fit in the newcomers to their bullpens, how Miami and Seattle can be expected to deploy their relievers after departures, and then check in on Toronto where closer Ken Giles (RHP, TOR) has been ailing. We start in Atlanta, where the Braves added Shane Greene (RHP, ATL), Christopher Martin (RHP, ATL), and Mark Melancon (RHP, ATL). You will recall that Greene and Martin were covered last week, pre-trade, as relievers with a 200+ BPV in July. Here is the new mix in Atlanta:

ATL (proj) IP ERA xERA WHIP Dom Cmd HR/9 BPV
=============== == ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ====
S.Greene        22 3.68 3.86 1.09  9.0  3.1  1.2  110
L.Jackson       24 3.00 3.42 1.33 11.2  3.0 ...
