At his 220 ADP during 2018 drafts, Mitch Haniger was drafted as a third or fourth outfielder in many leagues. After all, he missed tons of time the season prior due to injuries, was never a top prospect, and wouldn’t be hitting in a hitter-friendly park.
Flash forward three months, and you can find Haniger among the top 30 leaders in OPS and ISO. And he’s one of only 13 bats within those groups to also have a double-digit walk rate.
