Let's take an updated look at the batters who have posted the most extreme home/road production and batting eye splits so far in 2019.
This exercise can help you adjust your daily lineups accordingly, and can also help us to spot guys who may be one adjustment away from taking a big step forward.

Let's take a closer look at some hitters who own significant home/road production and batting eye splits.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
Willy Adames (SS, TAM) has made some underlying gains during his age-23 season. He has shown some of the best plate discipline of his career so far in August (9% bb%, 83% ct%, 0.63 Eye). He has paired those plate skills with impactful underlying power skills (140 xPX). And his production away from TAM has been very good this season (.307 BA, 12 HR, .918 OPS, 0.41 Eye). He hasn't been worth using at home (.179 BA, 3 HR, .491 OPS, 0.19 Eye). His August surge makes him an intriguing stretch-run target, and he'll carry some intriguing post-hype breakout appeal heading into 2020.

Miguel Cabrera (DH/1B, DET) is struggling to provide value due to his bad knee and inability to loft the ball. That said, Cabrera has been worth using at home for his high average and solid production (.333 BA, .851 OPS, 0.53 Eye). Those marks fall apart on the road, as does his control of home plate (.228 BA, .622 OPS, 0.33 Eye).
Matt Chapman (3B, OAK) continues to post really extreme home/road splits. He's a clear frontline contributor when he hits at home: .290 BA, 19 HR, 42 RBI, 1.006 OPS. His plate discipline at home is strong too (12% bb%, 80% ct%, 0.69 Eye). His stats tank on the road (.229 BA, 10 HR, 27 RBI). His plate skills fall apart too (9% bb%, 73% ct%, 0.36 Eye).
David Fletcher (3B/SS/2B/LF, LAA) has become an intriguing multi-position asset this season. His emergence especially has been evident when he hits at home: .312 BA, .830 OPS, 5 SB, 1.15 Eye in 205 AB. There's more room for growth here too, especially if he can solve his struggles on the road: .265 BA, .673 OPS, 3 SB, 0.48 Eye in 230 AB.
Clint Frazier (RF/DH, NYY) is a former top prospect that is trying to find his way into a regular role. While his overall results have been underwhelming, he has been very productive away from Yankee Stadium (.333 BA, 1.002 OPS in 96 AB). His plate skills have been workable on the road too (8% bb%, 72% ct%, 0.30 Eye), but he hasn't produced much of anything at home (.232 BA, .682 OPS in 95 AB).
Niko Goodrum (SS/LF/2B/1B, DET) hasn't produced at a valuable clip in aggregate so far in 2019, but if you can use him only during his road starts and play in a deep league, he could help you down the stretch. He has posted a .286 BA, 7 HR, 26 RBI, 7 SB, and .850 OPS on the road. In addition, he has shown pretty solid plate discipline away from Comerica Park (13% bb%, 72% ct%, 0.54 Eye). At home, Goodrum hasn't been worth using in nearly any format: .221 BA, 4 HR, 18 RBI, 5 SB, .641 OPS. And his plate discipline has been bad: 7% bb%, 64% ct%, 0.20 Eye.
Marcus Semien (SS, OAK) has shown significant growth in his plate discipline this season. Those gains have been evident particularly at home: 13% bb%, 87% ct%, 1.19 Eye. While those marks are solid away from OAK, they have the potential to get a lot better (10% bb%, 80% ct%, 0.57 Eye).
Luke Voit (1B/DH, NYY) is another NYY bat that surprisingly has been much more valuable away from Yankee Stadium than in it. His stats have been excellent on the road: .307 BA, 12 HR, 27 RBI, 1.003 OPS in 163 AB. His plate skills have been good too, in spite of a spotty strikeout rate (15% bb%, 72% ct%, 0.64 Eye). Voit hasn't produced at nearly the same clip at home: .253 BA, 7 HR, 27 RBI, .780 OPS in 186 AB. He struggles to make contact at home (63% ct%).
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Josh Donaldson (3B, ATL) looks like one of the top bats in the game when he hits at home: .304 BA, 17 HR, 1.072 OPS, 0.82 Eye in 191 AB. While he produces occasional pop on the road, those same marks aren't nearly as good when he hits away from ATL: .234 BA, 11 HR, .773 OPS, 0.47 Eye in 235 AB. If you play in a shallow league, consider maximizing your use of Donaldson by starting him only when he hits at home.
Adam Frazier (2B/LF, PIT) is another utility bat that is showing the potential to be an everyday contributor. At home, Frazier has displayed multi-category upside along with near-elite plate skills: .306 BA, 3 HR, 3 SB, .822 OPS, 0.84 Eye in 196 AB. He hasn't been worth using on the road: .228 BA, 3 HR, 0 SB, .611 OPS, 0.42 Eye in 219 AB.
Carson Kelly (C, ARI) has emerged as one of the better young backstops in the game in 2019. His bat has looked both electric and well-rounded on the road: .318 BA, 14 HR, 1.110 OPS, 0.69 Eye in 132 AB. For some reason, Kelly has really struggled at home: .189 BA, 3 HR, .634 OPS, 0.54 Eye in 111 AB. Kelly could deliver on his 2020 breakout upside if he can iron out his home/road splits.
Evan Longoria (3B, SF) is another batter that is producing at a much higher clip on the road. He has posted a .296 BA, 12 HR, and .958 OPS away from home, along with a solid 0.56 Eye. Owners that have started him when he hits at home have been saddled with a .215 BA, 3 HR, .605 OPS, and poor 0.26 Eye during his home starts.
Kevin Newman (SS/2B/3B, PIT) also has taken a step forward this season, solidifying himself as an everyday bat. Newman has put up some excellent plate skills when he hits at home (7% bb%, 90% ct%, 0.81 Eye). But he hasn't hit the ball with much authority at home (.662 OPS). The reverse has held true on the road. His plate discipline is worse (4% bb%, 84% ct%, 0.28 Eye), but nearly all of his power has come there (.874 OPS).
