MINORS: This, Not That—Kristian Robinson & Corbin Carroll

We are seven weeks away from Minor League Opening Day (5/4). It’s been 18 months since the last minor league game was played. A lot has changed in 18 months, including a lost season, realignment, league and team contraction, and lost development time for a slew of prospects. We’ll go into a lot of this as we get closer to Opening Day.

Time away from the ballpark has changed my perceptive on how I scout and how I handle my coverage. This year, coverage will go beyond the leagues I’ve always covered, stretching across the country. If it works for MLB organizations, it will work for me. 80% of the story can be told through video, which will enable me to cover leagues across the country.
