As we enter the final two months of the 2012 minor league season, we take another tour around the minors to see who is hot and who is not. We are now well past the half-way point for the 2012 minor league season and can get a better read on players who are having true breakouts and those who are really struggling. With the July 31st trade deadline looming, some of the games top prospects will surely be changing zip codes as we head into August.
Triple-A Update:
The St. Louis Cardinals Matt Adams (1B) continues to crush the ball for Triple-A Memphis. The 23-year-old Adams struggled in a brief stint with the Cardinals (.244 with 5 BB/24 K in 86 AB), but the Slippery Rock alum has not let that impact his production at Triple-A. ...
