This week we take another tour around the minors to look at who's hot, who's not, who's on the DL, and which players are on the verge of being promoted. In the past couple of weeks a number of high profile prospects have been moved up and that trend will likely continue as we move into late May and early June.
Triple-A Update:
The Kansas City Royals promoted both Wil Myers (OF) and Jake Odorizzi (RHP) to Triple-A Omaha this week and both could be in the majors by mid-summer. Before being promoted Odorizzi was 4-2 with a 3.32 ERA, 10 BB/47 K, and a .191 BAA in 38 IP. Myers was off to an even better start, hitting .343/.414/.731 with 11 doubles and 13 home runs in 134 AB.
