Each year major league organizations are faced with the dilemma of how to handle their top young prospects. Are these players, who for the most part have been successful at every level they have played, ready to handle the rigors of full-season baseball? Or do they need more time in the less-pressured environment of rookie ball? The jump from high school, rookie ball, or even college to a full season of approximately 130 games is a huge transition.
