MINORS: The Eyes have it—Tyler Mahle, Reds prospect notes

The Cincinnati Reds have played above expectations so far this season. Entering this week in first place, the offense has fueled the charge thus far. Joey Votto has been Joey Votto while Zack Cozart, Eugenio Suárez, Adam Duvall and Scott Schebler have all exceeded early season projections. The same can't be said for the Reds pitching. Beside rookie Amir Garrett (Scouting Report) and journeyman Scott Feldman, the rotation has been terrible. The Reds have used eight starters and will likely need a few more to make it through the season. One possible solution is Double-A prospect Tyler Mahle.
