MINORS: The eyes have it—Taylor's tools; Nationals notes

Fantasy-leaguers who study minor league SB numbers already knew about the potential of Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor coming into 2014. Fifty-one steals in 58 attempts, as Taylor notched in a repeat season at Hi-A Potomac in 2013, tends to get you noticed. He was listed as the Nationals' #4 prospect in BaseballHQ.com's Organization Reports this offseason with an 8D rating, with notes about his improved base running and developing power.

Two months into 2014, the 23-year-old Taylor has certainly fulfilled those expectations. Through June 1, playing for Double-A Harrisburg, Taylor had slashed his way to a .325/.405/.629 line, with 15 HR and 14 SB in just under 200 AB.
