Over the last month and a half, I’ve scouted several catching prospects. Since catching is the most volatile subset of fantasy position players, a prospect who has a shot sticking behind the plate, with some thunder in his bat, tends to be a hot commodity in deeper dynasty leagues. Today begins a two-article look at catching prospects.
I’ve never been a writer who has been fond of recommending catching prospects. They are an awful subset of prospects to predict due to the amount of energy needed in development (and after) with their game management abilities and defensive skills.
