MINORS: The Eyes Have It—Ryan Pepiot & Daulton Jefferies

Is it May 4th yet? I’m ready to write reports based on some in-person scouting looks. Luckily, there was a boatload of prospects appearing in spring training games this year. Unfortunately, I don’t always get who I want when I rely on spring training video. It is trial-and-error searching out guys with enough broadcast video to write up for the Eyes Have It series. For instance, I struck out searching for spring training Alek Manoah (RHP, TOR) video. He was dominant in 7 innings of work, allowing only 1 hit, no walks, and striking out 15 batters. Even in a short sample, 19.3 Dom gets attention. Hopefully, I get a good video (plus data) look at Mahoah early on in the season and can run with a report...

Almost!
