MINORS: The Eyes Have It—Harry Ford, Cooper Kinney, James Wood, and Ryan Spikes

It’s that time of the year again. Every winter into spring, I scout prep and college prospects. As I explained on the Eyes Have It podcast episode prior to the draft, I am contracted as an associate scout for an MLB organization. It’s the lowest rung in a scouting department and is an unpaid position. Why do I do it? Access. I also enjoy tracking down prospects, sometimes even finding gems the organization has yet to come across.

Because of this position, I can’t talk about any prospect I scout for the organization until after they are drafted.
