I’ve relied heavily on video looks this season, more so than even I expected. It was nice lining up with a new squad for a live look last Friday night before the same teams rejoin the live look mix this week and next. Good thing I tripped to Rocket City, too. It was Ethan Small’s (LHP, MIL) last Double-A start. Small was promoted on Tuesday from Double-A Biloxi to Triple-A Nashville, slated to start later this week. With Small securely in the lead for the story, I went back to video to get a look at a guy, Tylor Megill (RHP, NYM), poised for his big-league debut after a rash of injuries have hit the Mets rotation as they navigate several doubleheaders in their latest stretch of games.
