Sometimes the best intentions are just that, intentions. Last week, I led off my in-season prospect coverage with an Eyes have it look at Reid Detmers (LHP, LAA) and would follow the article up with an Eyes Have It look at Nick Lodolo (LHP, CIN) today, even though game 1 of the season pitted Detmers against former second-overall-pick Hunter Greene. Greene, who had Tommy John surgery in 2019, hadn’t thrown a professional inning for 1000 days, partly due to his recovery from surgery and partly due to the minor league season being canceled last season because of the pandemic.
