Six early 2024 dynasty prospects to buy

For my money, April is the trickiest time of the year on the dynasty baseball calendar. Small sample sizes make it difficult to separate signal from noise when evaluating prospects this time of year, but you’ll almost always miss out on some big risers if you don’t stay on top of things. If you wait until sample sizes start to become more actionable, there’s a good chance a lot of these wells will have already dried up. But our decisions don’t have to be complete dart throws; there are some early indicators that can help us out, such as age relative to level, walk rates/strikeout rates, and some available Statcast metrics. So let’s take a look at some names who are worthy of acquisition in dynasty formats.
