MINORS: Check-in on the 2013 draftees

With the 2013 minor league season entering its final month of action, we stop to take a look at how some of the top prospects from the 2013 draft have performed in their pro debuts. One of main advantages of the earlier July signing deadline is that organizations and scouts get a much more extended look at their recent acquisitions.  While the sample sizes are still small, some position players have already racked up 150 plate appearances and while pitchers have made 7-8 starts, giving us enough information to make some early evaluations.
