MINORS: 2014 HQ100 Roundtable

Prospect time of the year is so much more than just a list. Here at BaseballHQ.com, we continue our tradition of attempting to fill in some of the back-story of how our HQ100 list is made, along with additional observations on the prospect pool.

As we mentioned with the release of the HQ100, this year’s list was a collaborative effort of five writers who cover the minors for BaseballHQ.com: Jeremy Deloney, Rob Gordon, Brent Hershey, Colby Garrapy and Chris Mallonee. Each writer, who was involved in writing both the site's recent Organization Reports and the Minor League Baseball Analyst book, submitted a personal Top 100 list that we combined into the HQ100.
