Juan Perez (OF, SF)
Perez, 26, gets his first callup with Angel Pagan (OF,SF) being placed on the 15-Day DL. Perez was drafted as a juco player in the 13th round of the '08 draft, but had spent some time away from baseball, not starting his professional career until 23 years old. He had mixed results before repeating Double-A in '12 posting 11 HR, 12 SB and a .302/.341/.441 slash line. From a skills standpoint, speed and defense are Perez's calling card.
