Matt Magill (RHP, LA)
Magill will make his major-league debut after Stephen Fife’s (RHP, LA) shoulder bursitis makes him the fourth LA pitcher to visit the DL already this season. Magill, 23, has steadily progressed through the LA system since 2008 with a 3.77 ERA, 9.0 Dom, 3.7 Ctl, and .237 opp BA in 532.2 IP over that span. He does not possess typical starter stuff, relying on a slider/change-up combo, but the results have been very worked for him so far. Fastball is below average, topping out at 91 mph.
