ARSENAL REPORT: Greene in Experience

This week in the Arsenal Report we are looking at young pitchers who have had rough 2022 seasons by run prevention results but have shown signs that they possess potential for the future. It is easy enough to fall into the trap of assuming we know who young pitchers are now with more certainty with the level of nuanced pitch data we have, but we need to keep in mind that massive changes in results and process are not completely unusual for young pitchers. In other words, what we think we know now that is shaping our opinions on the future viability of a young pitcher at the MLB level can shift dramatically as they learn both MLB hitters and themselves.
