RELIEVERS: Non-closer BPV leaders

No one is suprised to see names like Craig Kimbrel (RHP, BOS) or Kenley Jansen (RHP, LA) atop a bullpen skill leaderboard. It's expected that these type players will go for top dollar year in and year out. However, there are a number of unheralded relievers who, despite their lack of name recognition, have displayed similar skill sets to the league's elite closers. They may not be closing out games presently, but they generate significant value nonetheless.

In this particular study, we ranked relievers (min. 30 IP) by BPV who are not currently closers. These represent the most skilled relievers who currently occupy middle relief and setup roles. Depending on fantasy league settings and MLB team roster construction, they could be worth...
