RELIEVERS: May BPV leaders (non-closer division)

This week, the column grabs the end of May BPV leaders. A lot of great relievers don't make today's list. To make this list, relievers need (1) a 150 BPV or greater through May; (2) a 100 BPV or greater projected by BaseballHQ.com for the balance of the season; and (importantly) (3) to keep the key names from being drowned out, saves through May less than four. That means no Kenley Jansen (RHP, LA). No Craig Kimbrel (RHP, BOS). No Dellin Betances (RHP, NYY). Not even Greg Holland (RHP, COL). I don't need to tell you that these closers are elite stud horses.

From these filters, we get the best non-closers (and one closer who snuck in anyway). Here are the current BPIs:
