Lineups Outlook: Keith, Miranda rising; Arenado drifts

Our latest Lineups Outlook features two hitters moving up while a veteran has been drifting down the batting order. These all have differing effects from a fantasy standpoint as the All-Star Break looms.

Detroit Tigers

  • Lineup note of interest: Colt Keith has improved his runs per plate appearance rate since hitting second while benefiting from a hot streak at the plate.

Searching for a spark, the Tigers tinkered with parts of the lineup in mid-to-late June, which included Colt Keith sliding into the second spot. He’s hit second in 16 of his last 18 starts and is slashing .314/.360/.614 with 14 runs, 22 hits, seven extra-base hits (two doubles, two triples, five home runs), and two stolen bases over his last 75 plate appearances.
