There are certain prospects who seem to have unlimited ceilings. The sky is the limit for how good they could actually be. However, many times those players come with a high amount of variance, meaning their floor is just as low as their ceiling is high. Whether it be enticing athleticism or unicorn-type traits, there's just something about those players that screams potential star in the MLB.
