The month of June is already half over, meaning we’re nearly halfway through the minor league season. June is a heavy video month for me as I catch up with all of the action going on in full season leagues across the country. Last week, my scouting was focused on the Northwest League, the smallest league in affiliated baseball. The High-A affiliates of the Angels, Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, Giants, Mariners, and Rockies play in this league. One affiliate, Spokane (Rockies), really stood out for quality prospects. This week, I’ll focus my notebook on four Rockies prospects. Next week, I’ll talk about two more while also adding a Mariners prospect and a Blue Jays prospect. Enjoy.
