Bobby Korecky (RHP, TOR)
The Blue Jays summoned the 32-year-old to the big leagues from Triple-A. Korecky has spent the majority of his pro career as a closer—he’s racked up 157 career saves. He last appeared in the majors with Arizona in ’09 and also spent time with Minnesota in ’08. The Blue Jays are his fourth organization and he’s even spent a year in the independent leagues. Korecky doesn’t wow with plus velocity or an overly impressive breaking pitch. However, he exhibits good command and generally keeps the ball down.
