The Marlins recalled the 25-year-old after optioning RHP Cody Hall to the minors. Ellington appeared in 23 games with Miami in 2015, posting a 2.88 ERA and 6.5 Dom in 25 innings. He’s a strong-armed reliever who comes after hitters from a high three-quarter arm slot. He has stints of dominance and can be very difficult to hit, as evidenced by his .128 oppBA in 2016.
