In the fifth inning of a 4-0 game, Kris Bryant (3B, CHC) makes this diving attempt at a bloop to left field:

Bryant missed the next game—seemingly dodging a bullet at the time—but eventually hitting the IL a week later. It wasn't until this March in an interview with NBC Sports Chicago that Bryant admitted to playing through more pain than anyone else knew:

During a conversation with NBC Sports Chicago, Bryant confirmed what another source said earlier this spring: the sprained left ring finger and wrist “injury” that eventually put him on the injured list included an impact fracture that Bryant did not divulge during the season.
