Stephen Drew (SS, ARI)
The Injury: A fractured right fibula (outside lower leg bone just above the ankle), torn ligaments in right ankle. Sports hernia surgically repaired in October.
The Outlook: Drew had a plate inserted around the fibula fracture area to lend stability and help with the healing process. The real problem is the torn ligaments from his injury. The fracture is healing on schedule; the ligaments are more of a challenge. Drew is a strong candidate to start the season on the DL. The bigger question is how much time will he need early in the season to get game ready.
What to Watch this Spring:  Drew is not even playing in “B” games yet and is very close to being declared out for at least April. Unless he starts making...
