AL Central: Clevinger nearing return

Mike Clevinger (RHP, CWS) is getting his work in at the team's spring training complex as he prepares to make his way back. He should be heading to a minor league affiliate soon, as General Manager Chris Getz indicated a couple of weeks ago that he's expected to make his season debut around the first of May. 

Clevinger recorded a 3.77 ERA in 24 starts with the team last season, declined a mutual option to stick around, then signed for far less after not finding any suitors on the open market. He should have no trouble landing a rotation spot once he's built up, but his skills say we shouldn't bank on anything close to a repeat.
