It will be very interesting to see how things shake out with the starting rotation this spring. Mat Latos (RHP, MIA), Henderson Alvarez (RHP, MIA) and Jarred Cosart (RHP, MIA) are locked in for three slots. Dan Haren (RHP, MIA) will certainly be there if he decides that he wants to play in Miami rather than try to force a trade to the west coast. Assuming Haren stays in Miami, that leaves the fifth starter job up for grabs with the likes of Tom Koehler (RHP, MIA), Brad Hand (LHP, MIA), David Phelps (RHP, MIA), Justin Nicolino (LHP, MIA) and Andre Rienzo (RHP, MIA) set to compete.
