As Tomás Nido (C, NYM) nears a return after being sidelined since August 25, the Mets will have to make some decisions about their catching corps very soon, with the results quite possibly upending the status quo.
Wilson Ramos (C, NYM) began the season as the clear number one catcher, on the strength of his 2019 performance (.288/.351/.416, 52 R, 14 HR, 73 RBI) and career offensive numbers (126 HR, .754 OPS).
