Oh, the Phillies’ 2020 bullpen. How bad was it? If the figure in Edvard Munch’s Expressionist masterpiece The Scream had seen them pitch, he would’ve reassessed the comparatively minor existential horror he was yelling about and fallen silent. The bullpen ERA was a terrifying (and dead last) 7.06—truly the stuff of nightmares. But skills-wise, things were not quite as bad as they seemed: 13.1% K%-BB% (18th), 4.26 SIERA (17th), 18.3% Soft% (4th!). So, who’s returning from last year’s scream team, and who are the new faces?
