Now that Aramis Ramirez (3B, PIT) has been dealt to Pittsburgh, the Brewers will have to figure out how to fill the hole at third base. There are a few options on hand, but Hernán Pérez (SS, MIL), who was already on the roster at the time of the trade, got the first start at third base, and Manager Craig Counsell indicated that he will indeed see an increase in playing time.
After an extremely slow start to the season, Perez has warmed up in recent weeks, hitting .393/.403/.607 in 63 plate appearances since the middle of June.
