Tyler Stephenson’s (C, CIN) return from a clavicle injury that ended his 2022 campaign was expected to be a major storyline for the Reds throughout spring training. However, the team has taken much of the suspense out of its plans for the key youngster entering the 2023 campaign, at least in terms of playing time, as manager David Bell has already planned out Stephenson’s deployment to incredible detail. Stephenson is expected to start 65 games behind the plate with additional appearances at first base and DH. In total, he is projected to play 140-150 games. In addition to protecting his health, Stephenson could be in for a breakout season from a fantasy value perspective, even if he doesn’t display significant skills...
