Even with Sam Dyson gone, new closer Matt Bush (RHP, TEX) isn't exactly a lock going forward. Obviously, Bush still owns terrific stuff reflected in a year-to-date 2.88 ERA (9.7 Dom), and his high-90s velocity hasn't wavered. But both his control and command have, as noted by the five BB, three HR and 11 hits Bush has allowed over his last 6.1 IP. Bush's funk has resulted in two blown saves and two losses over his last seven appearances—but the fact that he's managed to also save two games during this stretch suggests that the ninth inning remains his to lose.
