The pitching staff is undergoing a makeover this spring, the rotation at the back end, bullpen at the front, with plenty of overlap. Veteran Collin McHugh is gone and rehabbing an elbow injury as a free agent. Swingman Brad Peacock (RHP, HOU) is still around, but questionable for Opening Day (neck) after missing most of the 2019 2H with a balky shoulder, and is now reportedly ticketed exclusively for relief work. And with both Gerrit Cole and Wade Miley also departed, two SP spots have opened up, now with early favorites for both entering March.

One is rookie José Urquidy (RHP, HOU), who impressed down the stretch last year with his command (3.95/4.32 ERA/xERA, 40/7 K/BB over 41 IP) in a small sample. An extreme fly-ball...
