It's a young lineup with tons of questions that need answers in 2021, not the least of these is at shortstop, where 26-year-old J.P Crawford (SS, SEA) enters his fifth MLB season. Considered an elite prospect in the low minors, Crawford has struggled to meet expectations on the way up, with injuries partially responsible for impeding his progress. He's always shown good plate skills, plus speed, and defensive skills, but they've not been reflected in his BA or running game at higher levels, and Crawford's power hasn't developed the way some anticipated.

Following three uninspiring partial MLB seasons, Crawford made noticeable gains in the short 2020, hiking his BA from .226 to .255 BA as his ct% bumped up to 81%...
