After missing most of April with a strained hamstring, Rougned Odor (2B, TEX) has carried over his dismal showing from 2017 with a .214/.264/.316 line through 98 AB. Apart from a 123 HctX, Odor's underlying metrics remain depressed across the board, notably a poor 71% ct% that first plunged last season and continues to drift. But the newest problem is a GB% spike (48%) that has helped suffocate Odor's power, which last year (30 HR, .204 BA) was the only reason to keep him in the lineup. Despite the big contract, with just one HR thus far in 2018 and minor league options remaining, Odor may be overdue for a corrective Triple-A stint.
