Fueled by MLB's third-best scoring club and some surprising pitching performances able to exploit a soft schedule, the Rangers 13-5 tear has them three games above .500 as of June 3. The offense was expected to be the best part of this team, but production from the likes Hunter Pence, a resurgent Willie Calhoun, and journeymen Logan Forsythe and Danny Santana have taken it up a notch. Unfortunately for the longer-term rebuild, the hit parade has yet to include Rougned Odor (2B, TEX), owner of a .563 OPS through 163 AB.

Some inconsistency is pretty normal for most 25-year-olds, but following a breakout 2016 (33 HR, 14 SB, .271 BA), Odor has taken this to extremes. He hit just .204 (albeit with 30 HR) in 2017, then endured a...
