It was even more so than we knew then, and recent moves haven't really resolved that fluidity, kicking off with the acquisition of Eduardo Escobar (3B/2B, LAA) from the Mets. 3B Anthony Rendon's never-ending IL stints—the latest being a wrist problem of unknown duration—and the demotion of struggling 1B Jared Walsh (.119 BA, one HR, 61% ct% through 78 PA) back to AAA-Salt Lake City seemed to give plenty of AB to the 34-year-old Escobar, who can play all over the infield and was 5-for-11 early with his new club.
