According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Orioles may be seeking to arrange a return of presumptive starting left fielder Hyun Soo Kim (OF, BAL) to South Korea. There is precedent for the team making such a move. A year ago, Baltimore did the same with pitcher Suk-min Yoon.

Kim, a career .318/.406/.488 hitter in Korea who amassed 28 HR and 121 RBI last season, has struggled mightily with major league pitching this spring, going 8-for-44, with all of the hits singles. Kim’s contract requires his permission to send him to the minors, and the suggestion has been that he would be cool to the idea of spending time at AAA-Norfolk.
