The Blue Jays reportedly are closely monitoring the trade market for starting pitching help, which is little surprise given the deep issues in the starting rotation.

While Daniel Norris (LHP, TOR) was the first to earn a demotion, Aaron Sanchez (RHP, TOR) may be right behind him. In his last three starts—and in five of his seven starts on the season—Sanchez has walked more batters than he has struck out. A low 25% hit rate has helped keep his ERA in check, but a 5.04 xERA and minus-43 BPV speaks to the degree to which his job may be in jeopardy.
