Nick Castellanos (3B, DET) has been a disappointment to both the Tigers and fantasy owners this season. Although Manager Brad Ausmus has said that Castellanos is in no danger of losing his starting role, votes of confidence in baseball are often not correlated with job security. Castellanos is slashing .217/.267/.328, well off last year’s .259/.306./394. His xBA of .213 suggests that he deserves his low BA. His LD% is down to 20% compared to 29% last year.
