Injuries have hit the Royals hard, striking 3B, OF, C and DH over the last few weeks.

In the outfield, it seems everything has found a gap for Paulo Orlando (OF, KC; pictured above) since getting regular starts beginning May 13. As of May 30, he was 23-for-53 and in the midst of a 13-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, it's not well supported by a 54% h% and 77% ct%, and he needed an intentional walk to be imposed on him to get to two BB. Orlando began this run from the bottom of the order and has moved up to 6th; it's limited his runs scored to six, and he has no RBI in the last six games.
