Entering the 2019 season, the conventional wisdom suggested Wily Peralta (RHP, KC) might reprise his role from 2018 as the closer and former closer Brad Boxberger (RHP, KC) might work his way into the ninth inning role if Peralta’s peripherals trended in the wrong direction.
