Alex Avila (C, DET) told the Detroit News May 13 he thinks Jordan Zimmermann (RHP, DET) is on the right track and a victim of some bad luck, but that's not exactly what Zimmermann's Playerlink profile says. Chad Bell (LHP, DET) is with the parent club and could get a shot, but there's more help at Triple-A Toledo.
Buck Farmer (RHP, DET; pictured above) is rolling in his third full season with the Mud Hens. Through mid-May (eight starts, 48.2 IP), he's displayed a career-best 1.7 Ctl, and his 8.7 Dom (13% SwK%) represents another uptick from his 2015 (7.9 Dom) and 2016 (8.4 Dom) efforts.
