What a difference a week makes. Last week we cautioned that Jarrod Dyson (OF, KC) could lose some of his part-time AB, but now he should receive plenty of playing time with Alex Gordon’s (OF, KC) injury that will keep him out of action for eight weeks. Dyson’s ct% is at a career high 82%; his xBA is .287. With regular AB while Gordon rehabs, Dyson could return to the 30+ SB pace he has achieved the last three years. Dyson’s Spd is elite at 163. His competition for playing time is Paulo Orlando (OF, KC). Orlando is hitting .248/.282/.424 in 125 AB; Dyson is at .266/.316/.413 in 109 AB.
